ISLAMABAD: The prices of LPG, domestic gas cylinders and commercial gas cylinders, have been increased by Rs10, Rs120 and Rs455, according to report on Monday.
The price of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) has been increased by Rs10 to reach Rs210 per kg from Rs200.
The price of a domestic gas cylinder has been increased by Rs120 to Rs2,475. Similarly, the price of a commercial gas cylinder has been increased by Rs455 to Rs9,532.
Meanwhile, All Pakistan CNG Association blamed the LPG dealers for creating artificial shortage of the gas, stating: “Despite no tax on the LPG, the LPG dealers have created an artificial shortage of the gas in the market.”
The CNG Association maintained that the price of LPG was decreasing in the international market, whereas, in Pakistan, it was increasing.
“The government should take immediate notice of the artificial shortage of LPG in the market,” it demanded.
