Govt invites PTI to take part in National Assembly proceedings

The government has once again invited the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to take part in the proceedings of the House during the National Assembly sessions.

A session of the National Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf in which Federal Minister Ayaz Sadiq while expressing his views said that Imran Khan could not hold elections by pressurizing the government. “We invite them to the House like before to take part in the proceedings,” the federal minister added.

Sadiq said that notification on both National Accountability Bureau (NAB) amendment and electoral reforms bills would be issued tomorrow.

PML-Q leader Hussain Elahi while expressing his views said that why were those people not raising their voices against the inflation who were holding protests and staging sit-ins on the petrol prices hike during the previous government.

He said that Bilawal Bhutto, Maryam Nawaz, and Maulana Fazlur Rahman marched toward Islamabad but the PTI-led government had not stopped them. While the incumbent government brutally tortured the PTI protestors who were demonstrating peaceful protests against the inflation that was on the rise during the “imported government”.

He said that now it was time for the people to decide who they were with. “They will not follow the people who are under the control of any foreign power,” he added.
