This year’s cattle market has two superstars, Badal and Bablo. The majestic bulls from Sibi have been the object of everyone’s attention at Asia’s largest cattle market set up near the Karachi Super Highway and are also the most costly animals in the market.
Bablu is priced at a whopping Rs4 million while Badal will set you back at least Rs6 million.
Prices generally remain higher than last year at Asia’s largest cattle market, especially for animals brought in from Punjab.
Keeping in mind the scale of the ad hoc market and how long its operating hours are, appropriate arrangements have been made for lights while water coolers have been kept so people can remain hydrated while choosing their sacrificial animals.
Veterinarian services are also available round the clock to ensure that the animals remain in perfect health.
