Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto has tested negative for Covid-19, it was reported Thursday.
The foreign minister took a test after the German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock tested positive on Tuesday.
Bilawal continues, however, to remain in isolation and work from his residence.
He is expected to undergo a second test after which he will make a decision to continue with his in-person engagements or not.
The German diplomat cut short her visit after testing positive for Covid-19 shortly after her arrival in Pakistan, the German Press Agency tweeted on Tuesday.
The two foreign ministers had held talks earlier on Wednesday, including a joint press conference during which the Pakistan FM emphasised on the importance of trade.
