Muzaffarabad: Quick thinking on part of a woman saved another from certain death after they were attacked by a bear while working in the fields of Azad Kashmir.
The two women were busy plucking fruits when the bear attacked them, reported the local people of the village of Gojra located in Muzaffarabad, AJK.
Upon seeing the bear, one of the women attacked the animal with a wooden stick. Her quick thinking saved her friend Shazia, the other fruit picker, as her attack forced the animal to retreat.
As a result of the attack, Shazia was severely injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
