Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said Sunday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan had been nominated as suspect in over more than two dozen cases including rioting, sedition, chaos and armed attacks on the federation.
The security officials deployed outside Imran Khan’s residence, Bani Gala, as per law, will arrest him on the expiry of the protective bail granted to the ex-PM by the court, the minister said in a series of tweets.
The former prime minister has reached Bani Gala on Sunday after the Peshawar High Court approved his transit bail till June 25 against surety bonds worth Rs50,000.
“How one can become a head of political party in a democratic society who instigates people and have complete disregard of moral and democratic values, terming his opponents ‘traitors’?” the federal minister said.
