Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Tuesday that difficult decisions are needed to rescue the country from the economic crisis.
Speaking to the media outside National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office in Islamabad, Abbasi said that the incumbent government was making decisions to take the country out of the economic crisis. “Economic mistakes made in the last four years of the PTI-led government cannot be reversed in a month or two.”
The PML-N leader said that all parties must work together for the economic betterment of the country. “Dissolution of assemblies is not the solution to the country’s political and economic crisis.”
The situation will not improve until and unless all the parties sit at a table and talk, he said.
The former prime minister, taking a swipe at Imran Khan, said that the country cannot be run on tales being told on Twitter. “Imran Khan tells a new story at every public rally.”
