The government has decided to form an independent inquiry commission to investigate the PTI’s foreign conspiracy claims to lay all such allegations of regime change to rest, announced Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday.
“The commission will be independent and its findings will be made public. Whatever the decision of the commission will be… everyone will be brought to justice,” she said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad.
She alleged that the government was trying to safeguard Farah Gogi, a friend of former first lady Bushra Bibi, by running public campaigns. Marriyum continued her tirade against the PTI as she has been doing in her previous press conferences.
The information minister said the government would reveal PTI chief Imran Khan’s “foreign conspiracy”. Last month, former PM Imran had written letters to President Arif Alvi and Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial for a judicial commission respectively to probe the “threat letter”.
