Many of these pages offer home services, so you can book the artist for Eid and they’ll apply henna on your hands in the comfort of your home. Other artists let you book a slot, and you can visit their studio to get the designs. Make sure you arrive within your specific timing, so no time’s wasted waiting.

The Henna Girl is a henna artists from Lahore who applies designs with a contemporary take. Her designs features sketches of buildings and even people help her stand out from other artists. She’s recently launched a Eid package which includes design stencils, henna cone, a sealant and and an aftercare balm.

Local Bazaars

The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage Lok Virsa in Islamabad has arranged a special Eid Bazaar for people to buy different items for Eid, as reported by Radio Pakistan. Talking to APP on Sunday, senior official Lok Virsa Anwarul Haq said that from bangle makers to henna artists, the Eid Bazaar includes almost everything people look for ahead of Eid.

Meena Bazaar

Meena Bazaar which has been part of Karachi’s cultural fabric since 1974, is a must-visit place for women on chaand raat to have henna applied on their hands.

The Bazaar is located in an old building in the Karimabad area, and has several salons that offer henna application. On the night before Eid, the street outside the building is covered with tents where artists sit and make beautiful patterns on women’s hands and feet.

Beauty Parlors

One most certain place where women can get henna designs of their choice is at the beauty parlors. While rates depend on the design and length applied, the basic price for one side is Rs 500 at most of these parlors. A mehndi cone is for Rs 100, while some ask customers to buy their own cones, other parlors include it in the package.
