Indian troops kill two Kashmiri youth in occupied valley

In the latest act of brutality against Kashmiris in the Occupied valley, Indian troops have killed two young Kashmiris in the Pulwama district during a massive search operation, Radio Pakistan reported on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Indian police arrested All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Abdul Samad Inqilabi after they raided his house located in the Sumbal area in the Bandipora district.

Inqilabi's family said personnel from Indian forces raided his house and took him with them.

The Jammu-Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society has published extensive reports on torture, civilian killings, rapes and illegal detentions, while also detailing the impunity given to the armed forces in the disputed region, reported Al Jazeera. In 2008, a shocking disclosure about the presence of more than 2,000 unmarked graves in the northern part of Indian-administered Kashmir shook the region.

According to the rights groups, at least 70,000 people - most of them civilians - have been killed in the conflict so far, although the official figure is much lower.
