At least four Frontier Corps perosnnel lost their lives and 10 others were injured in an explosion that took place near a security personnel's convoy in the Sangan area of Sibi, Balochistan on Tuesday.
Local media, citing security sources, reported that a locally made bomb was used in the explosion that took place in Sangan, an area 70 kilometres away from Sibi. It added that the explosive material was detonated using a remote-controlled device.
The injured people have been shifted to a Sibi hospital. Officials said that at least four injured were in critical condition.
Security officials have cordoned off the site of the blast.

Meanwhile, on March 8, at least seven security personnel lost their lives in another explosion in Sibi, several minutes after President Arif Alvi addressed the concluding ceremony of the Sibi Mela at a venue close by.
