Shehbaz slams PM Imran's 'derogatory' language against opposition leaders

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif has slammed Prime Minister Imran Khan for using "derogatory language" for opposition leaders, saying the words could not be repeated and that the opposition would defeat the premier's "disgraceful tricks".

"Face the opposition and don't use disgraceful tricks as we are well aware of your [the prime minister's] fascist schemes and have been dealing with them for quite some time through imprisonment," the Opposition leader in the National Assembly said while talking to media in Lahore on Thursday.

He quoted the prime minister's comments during a public gathering in Karachi against the combined opposition leaders: "I won't spare them" and they are "thieves and dacoits". Shehbaz said the premier was foreseeing his future which "terrified" him and took him "out of his senses", which made him threaten the opposition and use "derogatory language".

The PML-N leader also talked about the prime minister's "sloppy" statements on foreign policy, saying such comments would "harm" national matters and Kashmir cause.

Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz while talking to media claimed that despite efforts of the premier, the no-confidence motion would be successful against PM Imran.
