At least three terrorists have been killed as security forces and militants exchange fire in Turbat, Balochistan, reported Aaj News.
According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) three terrorists were killed including 2 high value targets at Balgatar , Kech in a follow up clearance operation conducted on a makeshift Terrorist hide-out linked with recent terrorist activities in Panjgur.
According to the military media wing the terrorists hide out was surrounded on a major intelligence tip off.
The security forces encircled the well dug out terrorists and in intense exchange of fire killed all the three terrorists hiding there.
The killed individuals include terrorist commander Summair alias Bahar, terrorist commander ALtaf alias Lalik and terrorist commander Phailan Baloch who was involved in terrorist activities against security forces in Hoshab , Panjgur and other areas .
The killed terrorists were involved in terrorist activities in whole Balochistan. Cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered from hide out.
The latest attack follows a series of high-intensity attacks against law enforcement agencies in Balochistan, including Wednesday's separate attacks in Naushki and Panjgur in which at least seven security personnel, including an officer, lost their lives. Balochistan's Home Minister Zia Lango told the media that the death toll could be as high as 12.
At least 15 terrorists were killed as security forces repulsed the attack.
In the last week of January, militants stormed a military checkpost in Kech, Balochistan, in which ten soldiers were martyred. The attacks were repulsed with security forces neutralizing the threat posed by militants.
It came a few days after another attack in Lahore, Punjab, also claimed by Baloch militants, in which three people lost their lives.
