RAWALPINDI: Director General, Inter Services Public Relations, Major General Babar Iftikhar has termed National Security Policy as an important milestone in strengthening national security of the country.

In a tweet on Tuesday, he said that Pakistan's Armed Forces will play their due role in achieving vision laid out in the National Security Policy.

The DG ISPR said comprehensive framework, recognizes inter-linkages between various strands of national security, imperative to meet emerging challenges.

Military spokesperson's statement comes after the federal cabinet approved the Pakistan’s first-ever NSP, which aims at bolstering the country’s economic security and tackling external as well as internal challenges.
