A student of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad allegedly died by suicide in her room at the hostel, reported Aaj News on Tuesday.
Quoting the police, the report stated the undergraduate student of the varsity took her life by consuming tablets that were fatally posionous, with more such drugs confiscated from her room.
There have been no details regarding the reason for the suicide.
The victim's body has been transferred to a hospital for post-mortem, the report added.
This is the second incident of campus suicide in a week.
On November 24, Nosheen Kazmi, a fourth-year student at Chandka Medical College in Larkana, was found dead hanging from a fan in a girls hostel room.
Kazmi's father rejected the postmortem report which ruled her death suicide and blamed the university instead.
