The Islamabad High Court on Wednesday rejected post-arrest bail plea of Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Adamjee, parents of Zahir Jaffer, in Noor Mukadam's murder case and ordered them to remain in judicial custody till the trial was completed.
The IHC ordered the session court to complete the trial in eight weeks, while it also directed the police to submit evidences in the court soon.
Justice Amir Farooq announced the brief verdict in an open court where Noor's father Shaukat Mukadam was also present.
The detail written verdict on the case will be issued later.
Zahir Jaffer is accused of beheading Noor, daughter of the former ambassador, in his house in Islamabad on July 20.
Mukadam filed a First Information Report with the police on July 20 saying his daughter was missing. Later the police arrested Zahir from the crime scene.
The police has presented challan of the case in an Islamabad session court and the court will indict 12 people, including Zahir, the prime suspect in the case, on October 6.
Those who will be indicted namely Zahir, his parents Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Adamjee, three household staff Iftikhar, Jan Muhammad and Jameel and six Therapy Works employees including Tahir Zahoor, Amjad, Dilip Kumar, Abdul Haq, Wamiq and Samar Abbas.
