An Islamabad session court will indict Usman Mirza and other suspects involved in sexual harassment, torture and filming of a couple in Sector E-11 of the federal capital on September 28.
According to a challan submitted by the police in the court, Mirza was the prime accused in the case and he along with his complices filmed the objectionable video of the couple.
The accused man and woman recorded their statements under Section 164 in front of the magistrate which have been made part of the challan.
Mirza and his accomplices made fun of them and kept filming them, read the challan quoting the female victim.
It further said Mirza blackmailed the couple using the video. Another of the accused men, Umar Bilal, revealed they had received extortion of around Rs1.25 million from the victims on the instructions of Mirza.
"Usman kept Rs0.6m, while the remaining amount was distributed among other accomplices," read the challan.
The challan further stated the police have recovered mobile phone used for making the video and a pistol used for harassing the couple.
The First Information Report of the case was registered in Golra police station on July 6.
The police arrested Mirza, the co-owner of a car business, when a video surfaced on social media showing him harassing and torturing the couple at an apartment in Sector E-11 of Islamabad.
In next few days, the police raided multiple areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad and nabbed his accomplices.
