At least three killed while fifteen sustained severe wounds in a suicide attack near a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpost on Mastung Road in Quetta.
According to police, the powerful blast took place near Sona Khan check post on Mastung Road in Quetta, killing 3 persons while more than 15 others were injured.
The security personnel have arrived at the scene and launched rescue operation to shift the victims to hospital for medical assistance.
Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) said that it was a suicide attack in which 5kg explosive material was used. Emergency has been imposed in all the hospitals of Quetta.
Moroever, police officers have also cordoned off the entire area.
On the other hand, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan condemned the suicide attack on Mastung Road in Quetta and extended condolences to the families of the martyrs. He also prayed for the recovery of the injured.

Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha and Home Minister Balochistan Ziaullah Langu also strongly condemned the blast and sought report into the tragic incident.
The Balochistan Home Minister said that the forces made eternal sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
In their separate condemnation statements, they said terrorists would not succeed in their nefarious plans.
