KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday has announced that the educational institutions in Sindh will remain closed for another week and will reopen from August 30.
Murad Ali Shah during a press briefing said that all the staff should be vaccinated and parents will also need to show their vaccination certificates.

Sindh government on August 17 had announced reopening of schools in the province from August 23 with 50% attendance.
Announcing the decision of reopening of schools Sindh education Minister Sardar Shah had said that the educational institutions that have a full vaccination rate will be allowed a 100% student strength.
Schools across the province were closed on July 14 following a surge in coronavirus cases and were closed for classes one to eight, while students of class nine and above were allowed to only sit for their exams.
