ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee remained unchanged against the US dollar in interbank trading on Friday and closed at Rs164.00.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs163.8 and Rs164.8 respectively.

Similarly, the price of euro was depreciated by 05 paisas and closed at Rs192.57 against the last day’s trading of Rs192.62, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen also remained unchanged to close at Rs1.48, whereas a decrease of Rs 1.05 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 226.33 as compared to its last closing of Rs227.38.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 01 paisa each to close at Rs 44.645 and Rs 43.72 respectively.
