Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has resigned from her post.

According to the sources, she directly sent her resignation letter to CM Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and the chief minister accepted her resignation as special assistant on information and broadcasting.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, in April 2019, had been appointed as special assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting, before assuming charge Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab on Information and Broadcasting.
