Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Tuesday expressed disappointment over the un-parliamentary attitude of the government and opposition members in the National Assembly.
In a message on Twitter, He said that the un-parliamentary attitude and foul language used by the members in the National Assembly on Tuesday is reprehensible and disappointing.
"Today's incident in the lower house of the parliament will be investigated," said Asad Qaiser, adding, "Those who used foul language will not be allowed to attend today s session of the National Assembly."
Asad Qaiser's comments came after the parliament had turned into a battleground on Tuesday as the session to discuss budget 2021-22 began. The treasury and opposition members scuffled with each other and used budget books to hit each other when the latter continued their noisy protest to disrupt the budget speech of Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif.
