Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has stressed the need to protect the national heritage for next generations.

He expressed these views during a visit to Lahore Fort and other historical sites in Lahore.

The Speaker was briefed about the progress on project of Walled City Lahore and other projects to restore the original shape of sites.

Asad Qaiser said historical places of Lahore are national assets.

He said the project of Walled city will promote tourism of historical places in the country.
