Kuwait restores visas for Pakistani citizens

Kuwait has restored family and business visas for Pakistani citizens after ten years suspension.

The development came after a meeting between Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid and Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah in Kuwait.

During the meeting, it was also decided to issue technical visas for Pakistani workers in medical and oil fields. Pakistani citizens living in Gulf countries can now also get online Kuwaiti visa.

Thanking the Kuwaiti Prime Minister for the decision, Sheikh Rashid said by lifting ban on business visa, trade will increase between the two countries.

Speaking on the occasion, Kuwaiti Prime Minister said the relations between Pakistan and Kuwait span over seven decades and there is a relationship of love and trust between people of the two countries.

Sheikh Rashid, who is on official visit to Kuwait, also handed over a special letter from Prime Minister Imran Khan to his Kuwaiti Counterpart.
