A fire broke out at the Pakistan Embassy in Tokyo, the capital of Japan on Thursday, media reported citing Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the details, all staff was safely evacuated and no injuries were reported.
As per the FO, firefighters were dispatched to the scene after the Tokyo Fire Department received an emergency notification.
Chaudhri said that the local fire brigade had successfully put out the blaze.
Local police and the fire department are currently investigating the cause of the fire, which is believed to have originated in wood chips on the embassy grounds that set the outer wall of the building alight, local media reported.
However, the Geo News, citing sources, reported that the fire broke out on the second floor of the embassy and was caused by a short circuit.
