Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has urged the international Community to help resolve the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza and facilitate a just solution to the Palestine issue.

Talking to EU Ambassador Ms. Androulla Kaminara, who called on him in Islamabad, the Minister apprised the Ambassador of Pakistan's deep concern and anguish on the situation in Palestine.

Speaking about peace and development in the region, Chaudhry Fawad said Pakistan desires good relations with all its neighbours and is willing to reciprocate any peace overture, however cannot move forward by ignoring the situation in Kashmir.

EU Ambassador showed keen interest in Pakistan's initiatives in the realm of climate change, the Billion Tree Tsunami project and the drive for Clean and Green Pakistan.
