Micro smart lockdown imposed in 4 towns of Karachi's District Central

KARACHI: Micro Smart Lockdown has been imposed in 4 towns of Central District in Karachi due to surge in Vovid-19 cases.

The government is in action to curb the spread of coronavirus in Karachi. The Micro Smart Lockdown in four towns of Karachi's District Central will continue from 1st to 15th May.

According to the notification, lockdown has been imposed in Gulberg, North Karachi, Liaquatabad and North Nazimabad areas. Unnecessary movement of citizens will be banned in these areas.

In addition, a joint patrol of Pakistan Army, Rangers and police is underway in Saddar area and surrounding markets of Karachi.

In the markets of Karachi, announcements of 'Wear Mask' are also being made by Sindh Police.

There will be a complete lockdown in Lahore on Sunday as well

On the other hand, there will be a complete lockdown in Lahore on Sunday as well. Food, fruit, vegetable and meat shops will remain open from 9 am to 6 pm.

Petrol pumps and medical stores will also be open, while all other major and minor markets in the city and inter-provincial transport will remain closed today.
