NCOC decides to close down schools for class 1 to eight until Eid

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to close down all the schools from class one to eight until Eidul Fitr, Aaj news reported.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the NCOC held in Islamabad on Tuesday. The NCOC also decided to start ninth and tenth classes with 50 percent attendance.

While addressing the presser post-meeting, the education minister said that matriculation exams (grade 9 and 10) will be held in the third week of May while the O-Levels examination will take place as per schedule.

“Classes of grade 9-12 will commence from April 12,” he added.
