Pakistan on Monday has reported 2,253 new cases and 29 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to statistics shared by National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the country's nerve center for unified efforts against coronavirus, 44,061 coronavirus tests were taken, 2,253 new confirmed cases were registered, and 29 deaths were reported countrywide in the last 24 hours.
There are currently 1,823 critical patients of COVID-19 admitted at different hospitals in the country.
With these latest statistics, the country's total number of confirmed cases stands at 607,453. Pakistan has so far recorded 13,537 coronavirus-related deaths, and a total of 571,878 patients have recovered from the novel disease.
The country has so far conducted 9529763 coronavirus tests countrywide.
According to the statistics shared by the Ministry of National Health Service, the current positivity rate is 5.1%.
