Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz on Wednesday has said that the ruling Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will do everything in its power to elect Sadiq Sanjrani as Chairman Senate after Senate polls debacle.

Taking to Twitter, the federal minister said that PTI will use every political, democratic, and legal mean available to elect Sanjrani as the new Chairman Senate.

While referring to the video of Ali Haider Gillani, sone of Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani, allegedly trying to buy votes, Shibli said that opposition is hurting the democratic process by using illegal and immoral means.

The information minister further added that Prime Minister Imran Khan has a strong commitment of fighting against immoral and undemocratic tactics. He said that the premier has declared a war against corrupt practices.
