SAPM Dr. Faisal salutes frontline health workers for their services during the pandemic

Islamabad: On Wednesday, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on National Health Services Dr. Faisal Sultan visited the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to address the issues faced by the health care community.

He hailed the services rendered by the frontline health heroes during the coronavirus pandemic.

Pakistan's de facto health minister said that the frontline healthcare providers are our real heroes and the government will not oppose their genuine demands. He gave the assurance during his visit to the largest government hospital in the capital, PIMS, to convince its employees to end their protest and ensured them that all their issues will be addressed on a priority basis.

Dr. Sultan asked for cooperation from the healthcare workers protesting and told them that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the provision of quality health services at public hospitals. He also encouraged the doctors, nurses, and other paramedical staff to get vaccinated as soon as possible, dubbing the Sinopharm vaccines as safe.
