Pakistan's yesterday tally of new coronavirus cases proved to be the lowest since December 27.
According to the statistics given by the federal government: In the last 24 hours, 1,895 new Covid-19 cases and 39 virus-related casualties were confirmed in the country.
It must be noted that one of the reasons why lesser cases were reported yesterday lies in the fact that only 30,139 tests were conducted nationwide. The positivity rate (i.e. the percentage of the number of tests returning positive to the number of total tests conducted) remained 6.2.
