Marriyum's statement came after Prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday said that the government would not interrupt public gatherings of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) but warned that legal action would be taken against organizers and facilitators of these gatherings as they were endangering the lives of people in the face of a sharp spike in coronavirus cases and deaths.

PM Khan had once again reiterated his stance of making all the plunderers of the national wealth to face accountability and said that he would not give any ‘NRO’ to anyone at any cost.

While responding to these remarks by the premier, PML-N's spokesperson said the prime minister wants to create fear among his political opponents by threatening them with FIR. She further added that Imran Khan’s political revenge has made opposition leaders fearless.
