27984 Coronavirus tests were conducted in the country during last twenty four hours out of which 1,167 resulted positive.

Meanwhile, 14 new deaths were reported from virus infection during the last 24 hours.

The death toll from virus infection has reached 6,849 while 315,446 patients stand recovered.

Punjab

After sharp increase in the cases, the number of patients swelled to 104,894 in the province. The province reported 2,372 coronavirus causalities.

Sindh

The cases of infection have surged to 146,774 in the province, the most affected region in Pakistan. The death toll has reached to 2,633 in the province.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The confirmed cases have surged to 39,749 in the province while the death toll has surged to 1,280 in KPK.

Balochistan

There are 15,977 confirmed cases while 152 patients died of the infection so far.

AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

There are 4,330 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 98. On the other hand, there are 4,293 cases in GB with 92 coronavirus deaths.

Islamabad

There are 20,243 cases in the capital city while 222 people have lost their lives.
