Money laundering case: Court to indict Shehbaz, Hamza on Nov 11

An Accountability court has decided to indict Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz in in money laundering case on November 11.

According to details, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz were produced before the court in an armored vehicle.

The hearing was conducted by the accountability court judge Justice Jawad-ul-Hassan.

During the proceedings, the judge expressed his anger over the court being overly crowded.

“It is impossible to conduct hearing when the court is this much crowded,” the judge said.

Moreover, the counsel of Shahbaz and Hamza also submitted their medical reports in the court. The court, while summoning PML-N leaders for indictment, adjourned the hearing till November 11.

On the other hand, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz also arrived at the court and met Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz.

On September 28, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) tam arrested Shehbaz Sharif in money laundering case after his bail plea was rejected by Lahore High Court (LHC).
