KARACHI: Pakistan's senior television actor and comedian Mirza Shahi passed away due to coronavirus.
Shahi’s health deteriorated after contracting the deadly virus and he was shifted to Civil Hospital last week where he tested positive for coronavirus.
His family confirmed his death. Two days earlier he was shifted to ventilator.
The veteran entered the East Pakistani film industry in the 1960s with actor Nadeem's first movie Chakori in 1967.
He worked in several PTV dramas including famous comedy series, “Fifty Fifty” and "Nadaniyan".
