Accountability Court on Tuesday granted the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) a 14-day physical remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif for interrogation.
According to details, the anti-graft watchdog produced Shahbaz Sharif before the Accountability Court Judge Jawad-ul-Hassan.
NAB prosecutor pleaded the court for 14 days physical remand of Shahbaz Sharif.
On the other hand, Shahbaz Sharif did not appoint any lawyer and decided to give arguments in the case himself.
The court, while directing the investigation officer to submit detailed report on next hearing, granted physical remand of PML-N president till October 13.
On Monday, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Shahbaz Sharif after the Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected his bail plea in Rs 7 billion money laundering case.
