Pakistan Rupee started the month of August on a stronger note Monday as it gained 23 paisas against US dollar in the early trade.

As the businesses reopen after Eid holidays, the US dollar was available at Rs166.75 in inter-bank trade. It was a 23 paisas gain as the dollar was being traded in inter-bank for Rs166.98 on last Thursday, the last working day of Month of July.
