Former Actress Aisha Uqbah Malik has revealed that she and husband are absolutely fascinated by the Turkish series Diriliş: Ertuğrul or Ertugrul Gazi.

She took to Instagram to pen down a lengthy post about how the famous drama is a representation of Islamic culture and values. She also revealed that her favorite character is Hyme Ana.

"On the second season of Ertugrul. My Mr and I are completely hooked. What an amazing representation of Islamic culture, values, and history," Aisha wrote and added, "Hyme Ana is by far our favorite character from Ertugrul ’. Leadership, steadfastness love, and loyalty depicted impeccably by this graceful lady. What a phenomenal PHENOMENAL actress."

Hyme Ana is the mother of Ertugrul and wife of Suleiman Shah, head of Kai tribe. Her courage, bravery, utmost faith and loyalty to her husband and the tribe has won many hearts over.

The character of Hyme Ana is being played by a veteran Turkish actress Hulya Darcan.
