The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased prices of LPG cylinder after the official production price has been increased to Rs3,386 per metric tonnes
As per details, the LPG price will go up by Rs4 per kg which means Rs47 or 11.8 percent per domestic cylinder and Rs180 per commercial cylinder for the month of July.
The domestic cylinders will be available at Rs1,345 instead of Rs1,298, a commercial cylinder at Rs5,175 instead of Rs4,995 while the product price will be available at Rs57,757 instead of Rs54,372.
Following the end of an LPG extraction agreement between Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and Jamshoro Joint Venture Limited (JJVL), LPG prices are expected to rise further in coming months due to a shortfall of 300 tons in the system.
