Project "Sehat Ghar" to be started in South Punjab: Dr. Yasmin Rashid

On Saturday, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin held a meeting regarding the "Sehat Ghar" project, which is to be started in seven districts of southern Punjab.

In the meeting held in Lahore, she was briefed about functionality of Urban Primary Healthcare System and Sehat Ghar project by Special Secretary Ajmal Bhatti.

Regarding the new project to be initiated by Buzdar administration in South Punjab, the provincial health minister said that Sehat Ghar will be functional after provision of facilities and the project will help provide better medical facilities to the masses. She said:

" Sehat Ghars planned for 7 districts of South Punjab to be made fully functional with all medical facilities to ensure reach  to all people. Improved health care has resulted in increased proportion of patients in public hospitals. Our success lies in satisfaction of patients."

PTI minister further said that:

"I've advised Primary & Secondary Healthcare department to establish a helpline for the patients. Also, a pilot project for telemedicine is to be launched in Lahore soon and clinical audit of all public hospitals is being done. "
