NEW YORK: President of the United States Donald Trump on Tuesday urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resolve the long lasting issue of Kashmir through dialogue with Pakistan.
President Trump held meeting with Indian PM on the sidelines of 74th session of United Nations General assembly in New York.
President Donald Trump clarified that Kashmir is not the internal but a bilateral issue and should be resolved through dialogues between both the countries.
He said that he had discussed the matter with Prime Minister Imran Khan and the issue can be resolved through dialogues.
Indian media on the occasion tried to arouse PM Modi to speak against PM Imran but failed and couldn't make Modi to give statement against Pakistan.
