HARIPUR: An Anti-terrorism court began hearing Mashal Khan murder case at central jail Haripur where a day ago 57 suspects were charged, on Wednesday, Aaj News reported.Â
According to reports, Justice Fazal Subhan of ATC Abbottabad resumed hearing. Strict security measurements were made. Four main suspects in the murder case are yet to be arrested.
Earlier on Tuesday, An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Tuesday indicted 57 accused in lynching case of Abdul Wali Khan University student, Mashal Khan.
According to reports, the Abbottabad ATC formally indicted 57 accused in today's hearing.
Justice Fazal Subhan of ATC Abbottabad rejected bail application of 17 accused in the case and ordered to shift the trial at Central Jail Haripur where further proceeding of the case will be held from tomorrow (Wednesday).
Mashal Khan was a student at the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Pakistan who was mercilessly killed by angry mob in the premises of the university on 13 April 2017, over sham allegations of committing blasphemy.
