KARACHI: Deputy Superintendent Police traffic Hanif Khan and his gunman Fida Alam were killed on Friday in Azizabad area of Karachi when unknown assailants opened fire at their vehicle, Aaj News reported.
According to police sources, unidentified armed pillion riders opened fire on the vehicle of DSP Muhammad Haneef as a result DSP and his gunman, Sultan, were critically injured.
They were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors declared them dead.
Police has termed the incident as 'target killing'. Soon after the incident security forces reached the area and started investigation.
