PML-N all set to show its strength on Nawaz’s arrival

LAHORE: As welcoming banners and posters of Nawaz Sharif have been displayed in the provincial metropolis, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is all set to show its strength on arrival of ousted prime minister to his hometown.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has finalized all arrangements to accord rousing reception to Nawaz Sharif on his arrival to Lahore. On Saturday, different PML-N leaders including Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Punjab ministers Rana Mushood Ahmed Khan, Bilal Yasin, MNA Mehr Ishtiaq, Chaudhry Akhtar Rasool, Mian Nauman Yawar, Majid Zahoor and local bodies representatives remained busy in finalizing arrangements for what they called ‘historic reception’ to their leader.

Bilal Yasin told media that reception camps have been set up at different points including Azadi Chowk and Data Darbar where Nawaz Sharif would address public rallies. He said the PML-N workers and supporters are enthusiastic and would accord unprecedented reception to their beloved leader on his arrival.

Punjab Minister for Auqaf Zaeem Qadri accompanied by Minister of State for Commerce & Textile Mohammad Pervaiz Malik and Punjab Education Minister Rana Mushood Ahmed Khan told the media that history would testify the fate of judgement of Panama case.

According to him, the struggle of Nawaz Sharif is aimed at rule of law, supremacy of constitution, protection of basic human rights and bringing respectable status to the country in the comity of nations.

Zaeem Qadri further said that Nawaz Sharif was elected thrice as prime minister but was always thrown out through conspiracies. Nawaz will unfold his political strategy soon and would visit every nook and corner of the country to take the people into confidence in his future agenda, he said.

Rana Mushood said the only mistake of Nawaz Sharif is that he (Nawaz) is determined to make the country strong and raise living standard of the people. Mohammad Pervaiz Malik, who is also PML-N Lahore president, said the PML-N government has played an important role to bring the country out of deep crises.— Business Recorder
