RAWALPINDI,  Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday held a reception for Pakistan cricket team and the management.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, on the occasion the COAS hailed their outstanding performance which brought much awaited jubilation for the entire nation. He asked them to remain humble, continue working hard and be upright as they are ambassadors of Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Shaharyar Khan thanked the COAS for support and backing which ultimately helped to pave way for the game's to return to Pakistan.

Chairman Executive Committee PCB Najam Sethi thanked the COAS for all out support for organising PSL final in Lahore.

The players also thanked COAS for honoring them and great contributions and sacrifices of Pakistan Army in war against terrorism and the ongoing efforts for making Pakistan a secure and safe country.
