Blockbuster Dangal thumps the box office globally

Amir Khan is a versatile actor, director and producer of bollywood movies, always comes up with an innovative ideas and motivational spirit in his movies which are always worth watching and hit the box office. As no one wants to miss it.

Khan’s last movie Dangal which was released on 22 December, not only struck India and Pakistan’s box office but also hit the box office globally. It has become the highest grossing Indian movie worldwide and stands with a total of 1983 crores.

This movie occupied a prominent place in China’s box office and gross to $3million in China last weekend. Thus its total Chinese box office gross to over $185.85 million (1198 crores) in the 7 weeks. If Dangal collect 4 million more then it could beat Lost in Thailand and become China’s 16th highest-grossing film.

China mostly gives 30 days of license to foreign movies but this rare movie’s license extending for 30 days more due to it’s prominent performance in box office.

The movie ticket cost 70 yuan (Rs 1075). The hall constantly filled up, mostly by young Chinese girls as this is an inspiring and motivating movie for them.

Previously, Aamir khan’s movie 3 Idiots earned $3 million and PK earned $17 million. Since then Aamir khan has been gaining popularity in china.
