11 fascinating facts linked to Salman's next flick 'Tubelight'

WEB DESK: Salman Khan is all set to rule big screens with his forthcoming film 'Tubelight'. The movie has gotten media attention with many surprising events interlinked to its promotions. From revealing first look to adorable child star, everything has made us wait for film's release even more. 

Talking about Tubelight, there are some really interesting facts linked to it which we will surely make you include Kabir Khan directorial in a must watch list.

Recently in an interview, Khan said he will be holding special screening of Tubelight for Shahrukh,"We always have a special screening for all our movies and there would be a screening for Shah Rukh at his residence". As, there's a significant cameo of King Khan in the film.

Second fact is that Sohail Khan wasn't the first choice for the role of Salman's brother. A report claims, initial choice was Akshay Kumar. But, due to camaraderie they share, Kabir ended up casting real brother.

The child star, Matin Rey Tangu who already got fame, was zeroed down by the Director of the movie after auditioning huge number of children.

A kannada movie was already made with the tittle Tubelight so Kabir Khan, later had gotten NOC (no objection certificate) from the makers of the film.

In the beginning of Tubelight, trailer of Shahrukh Khan's next film 'Jab Harry met Sejal' will be attached.

According to reports, Salman will be seen as 'man child' in the film, a person with special needs who is slow in learning and picking. Despite his shortcomings, this man set a journey to find his brother after Indo-China war.

Chinese actress Zhu Zhu is making her Bollywood debut but she has worked in other international projects like Shanghai Calling’, ‘Cloud Atlas’ and ‘The Man With The Iron Fists’.

It is said to be Khan's shortest film, two hours and 35 minutes. However, the team and makers had decided to add 13 more minutes to it just one week before film's release.

The director, Kabir Khan has included 600 real soldiers after formal consent to train actors for the film. After agreement, they trained actors for weeks.

Later, boot camp was installed where these actors were trained. They were trained to the point where actors started to look like real life soldiers. Plus, they learned to hold weapons and armour too.

Lastly, reports state that a slingshot of 'Hum aap kay hain kon?' was recreated in Tubelight. It is also said that Matin (childstar) always carries a slingshot.
