SWAT : The people of Minigora city have started a charity campaign to construct a road, work on which had stopped since around two years ago due to non availability of funds.

Work on 25 kilometers road situated only five kilometers from Minigora city started some two year ago but non availability of funds forced the construction work on this important road to stop.

The area people said that due to dust, pollution and inconvenience their life has become miserable. Most of the people from the area were affected by chest infection, they said.

The area elders started a charity campaign to raise funds for road construction and said though with this charity amount road construction would not be possible however they are lodging their protest to the provincial government regarding this pathetic situation.

They said if work on this road was not restarted on urgent basis, they will observe a sit-in protest in front of Chief Minister House in Peshawar.-APP
