Karan Johar, on his show Koffee With Karan, asked about the same.
Priyanka replied saying, "You know Karan, for me, what I did was breaking concrete. People don't realize about it because I don't talk about it. It's really hard to convince the studios and walk into and say that I'm used to this kind of a part and won't settle for less or I don't wanna be stereotype of that exotic pretty girl. It's so nice to see whether it's Deepika doing xXx or whatever she does in future."
